At the moment i live in Beaverton, which i find rather unfourtunate cause i only have room for one truck. I have a 1981 f150 4x4 with the 300 I6, i traded my subaru legacy wagon for it, straight across. only thing is the tranny leaks windshield leaks etc along with more rust than I reckon i can handle, as I am relitvely new to the world of old trucks, I will admit.. I owned a '84 chevy.. that was my first love. but now I finally have a ford. so my first question is this... is it possible to put f150 4x4 running gear in an f250 2wd? i have a f250 available too me for less than $100, how ever the lack of 4x4 is stopping me from grabbing it right quick. not because i think i'll need it in snow.. but cause i want it in the mud and muck of where ever i can fit through the trees.
