I appreciate your info. This makes more sense than what's written in my Ford Owners Manual, that came with the truck when I ordered it new in 98. Also AllData has it as 8.6 also. Looks to me like they're both wrong and yours is correct. Do you know if the cooling specs take into account the heater core and its plumbling.? I would guess that would add a quart or so.
