I know almost everyone that's making BioD is using methanol, but...and I say but, I've heard of a couple of guys using Ethanol or Isoprophyl. Maybe Don will chime in and educate me on some of these guys using those "other" alcohols. You can also run a diesel engine on either WVO or SVO...the catch is the engine has to be up to operating temperature and the oil needs to be around 180F to that "flows" like diesel fuel. Check out VegiStroke/DFA, they sell a complete kit for PSD powered fords and Come-Apart Dodge trucks so that they can run WVO/SVO.
