Great fun... NOT

Ok so about a month ago I started to pull my TT home to get ready to go camping. I get about 4 miles down the road and feel something weird. I cant see anything but my partner looked int eh passanger mirror and says "something is sparking under your trailer". I pull off the road at the nearest safe spot. I have tread seperation. The tire is still inflated but the belts are whacking the underside of the trailer. I realized all of my tires had huge cracks in all tires on the sidewall. So 5 tires later all is good. Then I see that my boat trailer does not seem quite right, but I cannot see quite what. Now I know what it is.
After going fishing I walked to the trailer and give it a push (just for the hell of it) and hear a semil familiar clunk. Further inspection shows a bad hub bearing, loose cross bars, cracked rollers, siezed roller pivots and a tweaked (bent) axle. So I can get the parts from my buddy New Axle including all springs U bolts and hardware for 230.00. The guy at the trailer place wants 480.00 for those same parts plus installation.
Plus like another 250-300 for new lights and rollers. Or I could buy a new King trailer for 3500. I think fixing the old one is a good idea...

Thanks for listening to my rant!
