Guess I have to correct my previous post on the door strikers!!! When I removed them from my 88 parts Bronco, the retainer/nut stayed in place. When I unbolted the pass.-side striker today on my 84 Bronco, the retainer fell down!!!

I had to loosen and pull back the rear inner panel, and retrieve the retainer from the bottom of the door! The good news is that there's a hole about striker-level just big enough to get a pair of pliers thru, and fasten the new striker while holding the retainer.

I got new strikers from an aftermarket supplier, for a 78-79 Bronco, with the plastic bushings. The ones listed for 80-86 have a metal clip over the bushing, but mine are the older style. GO figure???
