Check out Mike's picture below. See the rod/stem sticking out from the left side of the pedestal? The assembly is held in by a snap ring.

It's my understanding that the O-rings are usually the cause of pedestal oil leaks, but in my case the O-rings were fine (just replaced) and it was my EBPV plunger that wasn't sealing against the cylinder walls properly.
