I talked to Bub. It sounds like they are a decent shop, but man...It's hard to get me to spend my cash. If I let them rebuild it, he said it could cost $3500+. That price does sound reasonable though. He suggested, since my truck is an infrequent driver and only used for things like hauling a camper and running trash to the dump, that I investigate going with a reman engine.
