Here are the Brake Specifications to explain it further. The larger brake system wouldn't fit into the wheels of the 5x4.5.

From the 1981 Service specification manual... FPS 365-322-81

So basically,aside from the truck being lighter,I can pretty much call my truck an F150.The only real difference I see between my truck and an F150 is the fact that my F100 is lighter,and can't tow as much.Correct me if i'm mistaken...

Oh and would anybody know off hand whether or not a longbed is rare on F100's?Alot of the F100's I see are shortbeds.
