i was looking at buying an old ford flathead engine 1950. I was wondering how much a rebuild kit for it would be?i dont know what kinda kit i would need, im really just buying it to take apart clean and put back together in my spare time. ive seen them go for as high as 2000$ and i really dont want to spend that kinda money,just looking for something on the cheaper side that comes with gaskets and seals and all the stuff that i wouldn't be able to reuse when putting it back i.e. gaskets seals and what ever else.this is my first flathead engine taredown and im also not shure if i would need any special tools to do this?
