since the last part is a volunteer thing-seems like a good idea? except I think that the donation part should be voted on by the members-like for set up for t-shirts or something!
not just what the CL wants to do with it as he sees fit! since it is everybodys money? just my 
Jr, the basic reasoning is:
1. We've already giving the CL our trust as we voted him/her in as the CL, so we should trust him to make any purchases go the good of the club withOUT a vote.
2. As it is a DONATION, it isn't "everybody's money, it's the CLUB'S.
3. We can't even GET the club to MEET, so how we gonna get a quorm together to vote on this? Again, down to trust in the CL.
