After chasing my options with this truck im coming to too many dead ends and im getting frustrated. There was a chevy truck at the shop earlier this week that the owner decided to junk. He got $1500 out of it from a local salvage yard. It had a good engine but bad manual trans. My f-150 has a bad engine and a recently rebuilt C6. I hate to junk it but im out of options here. Summer is coming soon and I have got to get me a vehicle. Does anybody know what the salvage yards general payouts are?
