I don't agree with it costing too much to put it into the F150. They have already done the engineering to make it fit with the Raptor. They obviously have already installed them and ran the Baja 1000s with one. The Raptor is based on the F150, as we all know. All they have to do is install them and sell them. They are not stupid enough to think no one will by them. Economy is definetly what is selling right now, not HP. But there are still enough of us who would buy one, even if it only gets 15 mpg. My 2000 4wd only gets about 17 mpg right now (the way I drive it, my wife does a little better). I am willing to pay more for gas to get the power, and I know I'm not the only one. Maybe a minority, but there are still enough of us to justify making them. I actually think it would help sales.
The only thing I can think of is maybe it won't get the mileage they need to keep the govt happy, and the gas guzzler tax could be enough to kill it. Or maybe they'll read this thread and just do it!
