Thanks man i got to messing around with that thing and it was the servo under the dash above the transmission tunnel. the thing is locked up, and the blending flap (i think that is what you call it) is broken into pieces. I got what is left of the flap turned over to heat, i poked a little hole in the duct and used a small piece of wire coat hanger to push it over and hold it in place. I know thats a half-a$$ fix but untill i can get the time to pull the dash out and replace all of the broken parts it will work. Thanks for the help, i've found that there are a lot of helpful people out there on different forums and you guys seem to be no exception to that. I am a new member here i'll try to contribute when i can, with what little knowledge as i have about fords. and again thanks for the help. if anyone needs to know exactly what i done to temporarily fix my problem just reply to this post and i'll be happy to describe in detail.
