I believe they are normally on the passenger side rear of the tranny, near were the tail shaft bolts to the tranny. There should be a rubber hose that runs from it to a metal pipe. On top of the tranny and goes from there to the top of the bell housing and then it changes back to a rubber hose.

I really don't know a lot about transmissions but I don't think that's the problem with it. Could be, but normally when they go bad you have problems shifting from 1st to second. Also I think your tranny has a electric shift module in the tranny. That gould be it or maybe you have a stick valve in the tranny. Again I'm not much up on trannys but those are a few things you might check into.
