Many times when people compare the PSD to the V10 they don't mention the comfort factor of the quieter V10. After years of listening to my f250 diesel growl for hours on end I decided that the V10 was for me. The PSD may get to the top of the hill first but the V10 driver will be happier because he doesn’t have a headache form listening to the motor or having the radio on to loud. The fuel the PSD saves the driver spends on aspirin or earplugs. The PSD driver will ether miss out on stimulating conversations with his wife or will be frustrated from having to talk over the engine noise. I like the diesel power but on most trips I don't need it. For me the V10 tows just fine. If economy is your bag you are talking to the wrong crowd, maybe Toyota owners have a forum. I love the V10 but fuel economy sucks so I don't talk about it, denial is not just a river in Egypt.
