XLT, Not to interfere with anything that Bill posted, and if I read your post correctly, any FE from a pickup or FT from a larger truck can be used as a replacement engine. A 73-76 360 would be a good replacement.

Back then UHaul had some crazy ideas and that engine was only available to them. AFAIK
