the only thing i would really add... is try turning the motor by hand before you attempt to throw a new battery in there and try starting it... and maybe grind a few teeth off the starter...

just for clarrification... just attempt to rotat the motor by hand... DONT TAKE THE STARTER OUT AND START GRINDING TEETH OFF!!! lol
