Sticking fuel pump relay in cold weather?

1990 5.8 auto. My fuel pump did not want to shut off this morning, it was very cold, about minus 5 degrees. When I turned the truck off, the fuel pump kept running. I went under the hood and jiggled the wires marked "fuel pump," next to where you attach the code reader on the drivers side inner fender. This made it stop.

One more thing, the truck had a coolant leak this morning, it seemed to be from a hose clamp, so we tightened them all and sprayed the engine down to get the coolant off. Maybe water got into the relay and since it was so cold, it did not dry? Actually, is that the relay that I jiggled, and if so, is it replaceable?
