Gas at the Marathon in Ripley shot up from $3.95 to $4.21 for regular Thursday but the surrounding stations went to $3.99 and stayed so they came back down Friday.
I saw something very similar last Friday... the Marathon in Bartow shot up to 4.17 while everyone else (including Elkins, which, from what I've seen have the highest gas in WV) were at 3.99. Not sure if they dropped it back off though.
Maybe the big shots at Marathon were wanting to do a little gouging!
