Ive got a 1970 Half ton pickup that's pretty much my hobby truck. Ive been wanting to do a mild suspension drop for some time but unsure how to proceed. In the most recent *** catalog I found 2 inch drop front springs but I've heard that when you attempt to drop an I beam front end with springs it causes serious tire wear and tire lean. The only other way I know to drop the truck is to use the front end out of an old mercury, but it results in about a 7 inch drop.
