Ok I made a second test batch with new oil from Walmart

heated oil to about 120F

Added in the methoxide mixture

Agitated the mixture

Let settle for 24 hours

Have dark but very clear what I believe to be glycerin layer at bottom of bottle and a light but slightly hazy settled on top of that. Here is a photo

Smarter folks than I, any thoughts tips etc ?
