The EGR cooler on mine has gone out twice in the last year 2005 F250 in the last year it is in the shop right now for the second time the smoke starts out a little then it will come out until the engine warms up eventually it will go out completely then you will see blue smoke along with the white smoke I was told that once the EGR cooler goes the oil cooler will follow hope this helps
