Register at the Colorado Power Stroke Club and you will get tons of advice on what works best up here at our altitude.

I will tell you here that if you are wanting to add power to a 7.3, stick with a 2000 or earlier to stay away from the powdered metal rods, or replace the rods in a later model truck.

I've got my 2000 Excursion running right at 400 hp and 15.2 in the 1/4 mile, and daily drive it with tuning from Tony Wildman and Cale Thompson, QSSB turbo, Hypermax stage 1.5 injectors, 4" exhaust, AFE stage II intake, Tapercore intercooler and BTS tranny.
We had our '97 F250 pushing 500 hp and 13.7 in the 1/4 mile, and pulling our 5th wheel with an ASB turbo, Hypermax stage II injectors, tuning, Tymar intake, 4" exhaust, Tapercore intercooler, BTS HPOP and BTS trans. It was running great when it went in a lake and is now going through a Cummins conversion.
My Excursion still runs great and will actually be getting the bigger injectors and BTS HPOP soon.

Lots of great folks over on the club website, and it's free to register.
