$1.38 per gal + $.75 per gal for conversion = $2.13 per gal final cost. With #2 at $3.50 (or higher) per gal I would buy your BD with a 30% markup and still save tons of money.
My BioD station just went to 3.10 per/gal and said it will be rising again this week.
$2.13 per gallon sounds pretty good these days. Plus no filtering old oil and disposing of the waste material.
This is doable.
