Sorry to bump this thread from the dead, but didnt want to start another one. Dennis, is that chart you referenced applicable to a 73 f250 w/ a 460 also? Somehow I ended up setting the timing at about 9-10 with the vacuum advance disconnected from the dist and plugged, and the truck has a terrible time starting up. Got the info from here (this site), but dont remember how long ago or from whom ( I have been on 2 cruises back to back and am getting ready for another one, and just havent been around much.)
