im going the same route with mine you still have to fiddle with the carbs to make it so you run on the 2 carbs and then at say 3/4 throttle the third kicks in. otherwise 2 cylinders will run lean as the rest run rich. other option that guys do is block the center carb completely and run the motor off the other 2 carbs (depending on what intake you have for fuel distribution, some are better than others)
