'55 F100

All right! I have my engine back and ready for assembly. I had the flywheel resurfaced and the pressure plate, flywheel and crankshaft balanced together. Also had new rod bushings installed and the rods resized. Total for the machine work was $595. Total for parts was $700. Getting the heads rebuilt was $375. Original cost of the engine was $160.

Just waiting for my reground lifters to come back and new block dowels. I did assemble the pistons to the rods this weekend. Due to the mushroom design of the lifters they have to go in the block first. I will take some pictures of the bare block and parts to start and place them in my gallery.
