I live in Western North Carolina near Newland. I am in the market for an old truck to use in parades and at the old country store and grist mill I am building. I am looking for a truck that is usable without much further work and am not interested in a "project" truck. An older restoration or original vehicle in good shape would be fine. Doesn't have to be anything perfect. I am looking for somthing with a cost between $5000 and $9000.

My first preference would be a 1925 or 1926 Ford TT or pickup. Next choice would be a Model A pickup or large truck made in the early 1930's. I have found several trucks on the internet but most are located so far away that it would be difficult for me to go look at them or to have them shipped and that is why I thought the collective knowledge of this group could help.
