Thanks for the information. This was just about the exact same question I was going to ask with our '75 F250. Same problem, 16 1/2 wheels...very expensive tires (found that out by talking to the local firestone).. Plus the prior owner already put a set of 16's on the rear end. If all things being equal? If I'm understanding this right.

Our local yard has a set of E250 wheels from a ford van dated 1993. Now if that used (not sure, as my memory is fuzzy) a 8 lug wheel? Then it should fit our '75 F250? (it's a 16"x7") If so? They are asking a fair price for the wheels, and the 7" width would make life more simple to upgrade the current tires to a more meaty 235ish size.
