Mike, I'd love to stroke her out but it's not mine to do that with...however, my buddy has a 289 ZZ motor that will be a very interesting swap in the future...hopefully the very near future.Numberdummy......the sites I researched from are those posted in the smallblock forums.The casting also extends further than what you have said...I beleive it's 70-79 For the Maverick or Grenada.Digging further into that the casting numbers also came in a 74 Ford Maverick.The Block was also stamped 3J4 which means what? 3= the year so, 1973 J=month which means what semptember or october, and the 4 indicates the date which would be the 4th.I have checked the heads 3 times and I believe they say E7TE but I will check them once again when I get a chance just to be sure.Thank you for all the information and for the straightforward reply Paul.Later all
