did the same thing in my wifes 98 cobra svt and have had "check engines lights" ever since. went back to motorcraft.

tried one in her 06 exp. for a year. not sold on it. so have also went back to motorcraft since it is maf.

but i think i will leave the 460 alone with the k and n. seems to be fine.

several years ago, I worked for auto zone and had a lady come in w/ a WSX TA and we got to talking about the k/n filter, and she said that she had used one but CEL kept coming on

so, she went to the dealer and they said that it flowed too much air, and that she needed a chip to take advantage of it, and that would cure the CEL.

granted it's all hear say, but see any reason that she would lie.
