It takes about thirty seconds and a 1/2 drive ratchet.

As for belt slip, changing the belt may help a tad, for awhile, but getting 100mm idlers (to replace the stock 90mm) can help. But the best way to minimize belt slip (other than getting a cog setup) is to get a Magnum Powers idler bracket.

The MP setup is better than any other Metco style of idler bracket setup because the MP idler bracket wraps the belt on the snout pulley from the proper side.

The MP wraps the belt from the drive side of the pulley, instead of wrapping it on the release side of the supercharger pulley like the Metco bracket does.

2) How hard is it to install the (outside) drivers door handle with a 04 version that has the programed buttons?

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-01.
  1. Position the watershield aside.
  1. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
    1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    1. If equipped, release the actuating rod from the lock cylinder.

    1. Open the clip and release the actuating rod from the front door latch.

    1. If equipped, disconnect the keyless entry keypad electrical connector and disconnect the harness channel from the door.

    1. If equipped, connect the keyless entry keypad electrical connector and install the harness channel in the door.

    1. Transfer components as necessary.
