300-6 Headers

Mark-
I do like the 300-6, mine was (and still is) a very sweet running machine. A buddy has it now. Unfortunately mine had the OEM carb setup and my buddy had the FI setup. Both of us experimented with getting a decent sound out of a STREET machine which is what I believe this man has. I too have heard many swamp buggies with that motor running full out that sounded GREAT! But on a street machine motor with any reasonable street cam, much less an OEM job, they sound like a six, but can be improved. I have heard that there are people that have put on custom cross flow heads and all sorts of things. That motor can really be awakened, much like the Ford 400. It is a great motor, one of Ford's BEST!
