Not to be a smart @#$ but did you hold it in, or does yours actually lock in place? Where do you stand with the problem right now? Uve checked fuses, relays, connections, new switch? The only thing left is the shift actuator motor. You could go to the dealer and have codes pulled for this, its stored in the GEM module. Cant retreive it unless you have Auto Enginuity or equivalant.
