Those numbers sound like the parts numbers from Dennis Carpenter in North Carolina. His business has a toll free number if you can find it. Maybe give him a call and they can explain it for you you. I have a catalog from 1991 from them and those numbers match in his catalog, but no explaination as to the difference.
I presume the difference is that the notched ones are for windows that open and the non notch are for fixed windows that do not open.The notched rubber is most likely for the window latches.
