In the 2005 diagram, the daytime running lamps have their own fuse in the fuse box under the dash. From the the fuse it runs to a drl relay in a aux fuse box located on the driver's side fender. Coming out of the relay it goes to the resistor. From the resistor it taps into the lowbeam wire, which goes all the way back to the fuse box where there are individual fuses for each lowbeam light. It splits and goes to each fuse, and then from those fuses it feeds each lowbeam light.
