i have several flathead V8's (even one in an 8N tractor) in my collection of ford treasures using the ford (c-g) and the stromberg two barrels; even one running on l.p. gas. i couldn't use one of that type carb on the 6 cyl. unless an adapter plate was made for the intake mount. also, i'm afraid it might run too rich being a two barrel. hooking up the throttle linkage would not be a problem. i'm not sure about the flow rates of these carbs-any thoughts?
in your tractor carb apps, do you show a one barrel downdraft for these years or just the normal one barrel updraft (marvel-schebler?) for the 4 cylinder tractor engine? thanks, will.
