Automotive News first reported this last year. One of the reasons the introduction was delayed till February. From what I've read, none of the engines that had defective camshafts were sold to the public. The problem was discovered long before the introduction of the truck.


I find it ironic that the few problems that have affected this truck have been reported by GM, who has tie ins with Toyota...OnStar (used by Lexus) and NUMMI being two examples.
