What is the purpose in these swaps? If it's just to get a fresh engine under the hood, dress the mustang engine with all the truck stuff and it would probably work. Trying to use the mustang FI system in the truck will probably be a nitemare in wiring and plumbing modifications, and you probably won't be happy with the results. The intake systems are different because the truck engine needs the torque to move a heavy truck. The mustang engine is designed to move a lighter weight car.
