What? You mean the latest 3 year old version of the F-150 "suddenly" tows more than 2 trucks ( which both simularly equiped have more hp and tq than the Ford ) and it took them this long to tell everyone?


You speak the truth and it's actually quite funny. At least twice now Ford has upped the max tow ratings in response to a competitors' new release.

When they upped it to 10,500 to counter the GM trucks, I'm not sure if there were any changes. But the 11K tow rating that came out in response to the Tundra is only available on a specifically optioned truck the average consumer does not purchase.

[and don't forget the F-150 is 4 model years old!!]
