the Cumins in 60CI per cylinder, if it was an 8cyl it would displace 480ci. More cubes per cylinder makes for bigger pistons and longer strokes. Plus it's an inline motor, so 7 main caps, more mains than cylinders makes for a very strong bottom end.

What can I say, I like the inline motors. Plus the cumins that I have driven pulled like farm tractors, than cars.
