Hi Miller! Welcome to the blissful world of biodiesel!! I have a 1999.5 PSB that is running Washington-grown canola oil BD right now and absolutely loves it and so do I. Your PSD will do just fine on BD without any changes whatsoever, and once you start using it, you'll never stop. Turns your clattering, burning toxic exhaust spewing PSD into a purring 'pleasant to be around' best friend. Still sounds and acts like a diesel, but oh so much better in so many ways!

Your only risk is if you don't quite make your BD properly, then you could clog up a filter or fuel system. Be very diligent, or buy from a good processor, and you'll be in good shape. I don't make my own, but know exactly where it's coming from.
