i have a 2001 hd truck and have the same problem. had a mechanic check and was told the same thing. now i have a leak around my toque converter. i have 56,000 miles on my truck. does anyone know if ford has done any recalls or anything else about this? i dont want to be looking at a rebuild on my tranny already. any ideas?
