The EFI intake manifold will fit with some mild intake porting on the head. I have 1970 D0VE heads on a 1992 460 with the stock intake manifold. The EFI intake runners are about 1/4 inch higher than the D0VE intakes, but there is plenty of casting in the heads to allow the ports to be matched. The intake has thin walls and will not allow much porting.

I have looked at the mustang ECM and a recalibrated MAF and that should work fine. Mustang folks do that regularly. I would consider going to 30# injectors though.
