I've heard of problems with the controllers/compressors that run the air lines to the gauges in the cab -- lots of leak issues. There are electronic controllers that are supposed to be much more reliable. With that said, I carry a $29 - 12 volt compressor with me -- I often use the bags to level the camper as well as any other load (make sure you keep the bag separate with seperate schrader valves), and then I just pump them back up as needed after breaking camp, etc.. I've never had a leak, so the pressure I set stays until I change it...
