Cool 2005 6.0L problems

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
My 2005 6.0L F-350 has given me fits since new. Currently has 92K miles.
I experience a Bucking or Jerking under light acceleration when towing or climbing a grade. This happens frequently and seems to be in-between shift points. If I accelerate enough for the trans to downshift the problem seems to go away but If I try to maintain my current speed this occurs along with an audible noise resembling a backfire through a carburetor on a gas engine.
Also, when pulling a hill at approx 2700 rpm maintaining approx 30 psi of boost and running about 50 mph the truck will all of a sudden lose 20 psi boost, and about 500 to 700 rpm and drop to about 25mph. This condition will last for a minute or two and then the power will kick back in and boost, RPM and MPH will begin to rise to the previous level. This happens only when pulling a grade under load.
I have taken the truck to several dealers, none of which can duplicate the problem since they wont test drive under these conditions.
Any suggestions?
