I've asked a few people I know and nobody can give me a stright answer on this.
Is it legal, in Alberta, to tow a vehicle with a tow-strap (no trailer or dolly) IF, the towed vehcile has working brakes and signals, and a person is in that vehcile to operate these brakes and signals?

Seems to me, this must be against some law somewhere. However, it's a really handy way to move broken down or newly purchased vehciles a short distance, especially if it's a rural area and you keep the speeds down.
