I have a 1985 F-150 with a 302 2 barrel carb soon to be swapped for a Holley 4 barrel. The stock cold air intake (Air cleaner, snorkel, and air intake tube) is long gone. I would like to get another cold air intake, but have had no luck in finding one for carbed motors. All I can find is the open element air cleaners. Is there a reson why Summit, jeg's, etc. do not carry these? Which leads me to wonder, is there really any advantage to running a cold air intake versus an open element air cleaner for carbed motors?
