hell yeah, I refused to rent. Found an old mobile on 3.6" acres, my payments are $364 a month. Property tax is $600/year. Even if you dont plan on living in a place forever, youll get some money back if you sell it, unlike rent where the money just goes into the owners pocket. Call it an investment.
