[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-Mar-02 AT 02:17 AM (EST)]Ford Racing has a 392 stroker motor that puts out 461 hp and 454 lbs-ft of torque. Just for the fun of it, replace the GT-40X heads with a set of AFR heads milled to a 54cc chamber, Victor Jr. intake, and Speed Demon Carb. Try 537 hp at 5900 rpm's and 505 lbs.-ft of torque at 4900 rpm's. Box stock heads except for the mill job. That's a 351 block bored .030" over. Custom crank with 3.850-inch stroke, along with stock-length 351-W rods, using .030 over 302 pistons. Actually it meaures 393 cubic inches. I think that proves the carb is not yet dead. Pretty good for having no power adder and a 750 cfm carb. Oh yeah. The cam is a Comp Cams XE282HR. That's the most important ingredient.
